Shall we take a turn in the blog garden?

Over the last couple of months I have come across a couple of websites I like…

David Strain is the minister at London Presbyterian Church (Free Church of Scotland). I had never heard of a FCS minister interested in church planting before, but this is one of them. Always worth a look.

Martin Downes writes some interesting posts on heresy, looking at historical lessons with modern applications.

I dont know whether to confirm your stereotypes of the Free Church of Scotland and get all defensive and offended: “You’ve never heard of a…well I never…I mean…how dare he!”

Or to rant about how little missional thinking there is in the Free Church generally, “if only everyone thought like me then my denomination would be perfect….”.

Ahh well. I will leave it at a brief thanks for linking to me and hope that suffices. I pray that Solihull is a great encouragement, brother and that you see lost men and women won to the kingdom. Email your prayer letter if you have one and we can make sure that we remember you and the ministry there at our prayer meetings. Otherwise even some prayer points would be great.

    David,
Sorry to put you on the horns of a dilemma! Just keep doing what you are doing – that’s fine with me. You are an encouragement.

I plan to issue a prayer letter soon (though I have been saying that for a few weeks now!) I ‘ll be glad to let you have one.
